SCI will return to the 1STBANK Center for three nights this NYE, December 28, 29, and 31 in Broomfield, CO. This New Year’s run will be extra special, as it marks a significant milestone in our history as a band. It’s hard to believe it was 25 years ago that we all got together in Crested Butte to play our first gig! Needless to say, it’s been quite a journey so far!
In addition to single GA Tickets**, we are pleased to offer 3-Day GA Passes** to SCI NYE at just $150.00 for all three nights! Also be sure to check out our Ultimate Incident VIP & Travel Packages. All ticket types will go on sale next Tuesday, Sept. 25th at 11am MT via our TOUR PAGE. A public on sale will follow on Friday, Sept 28th. Please see below for our new GA Floor policy.
**This year the 1STBANK Center will be entirely GA all three nights, with plenty of space on both the floor and the seated bowl for ticket purchasers to choose from upon entering.
Each night access to the floor will be first come, first served, and space will be limited. If you would like to experience the Incident from the floor, you may begin lining up in the “GA Floor Line” outside of the 1STBANK Center one hour prior to doors, at 5pm. Once the general doors open at 6pm, floor wristbands will be given out as you enter the venue. Once you enter the building there is no re-entry. Once you are given a floor wristband you may not exit the building and must enter the venue at that time. Wristbands are only given out as you enter the venue and your tickets are scanned. Once the floor capacity is reached, the venue staff will no longer be giving out floor wristbands.
Audience taping is allowed at all Incidents. Taping of an SCI performance will only be permitted in the designated taping area. Guest performances by band members with other artists will be overseen by that artist's policy. No electrical power will be given to the taper section.
There are no designated tapers' tickets at general admission shows, entry to the taping section is first-come first-serve. Taping will be allowed on a space-available basis with any ticket. When the section is full, no additional recording equipment will be allowed into the show. If you wish to tape at a general admission show you have the best chance of getting a spot in the section if you are in line to enter the building when the doors open; this time is always printed on each ticket. If all of the space is taken before you enter the venue, you will not be permitted to bring recording equipment in with you.
The enjoyment of the audience in attendance at an Incident always takes priority over recording efforts. This means that at no time should tapers ever call for other concertgoers to be quiet or impede their enjoyment of the Incident. Per our taping policy, there will continue to be no "front of board" taping. However, we will continue to place the taper section in the BEST spot available in accordance with the restrictions and policies of the venues. Furthermore, we will continue to do our best to accommodate as many tapers as possible within the confines of the venue's limitations and ticket / space availability. Anyone found taping in violation of the above policy will be removed from the venue and unauthorized recordings will be confiscated.
