SCI at Fuji Rock Festival - When Pigs Fly!
On July 28 & 29, SCI played two sets during the 10th Annual Fuji Rock Festival in Japan. Also making a special appearance, on July 28th, was none other than the Pink Floyd pig. This was the same pig who first flew with SCI at the 2003 Austin City Limits Festival.
When asked about the appearance, the Pig commented, “I was excited to fly across the pacific en route to Japan from the US. After a quick stop in Hawaii I was ready to go for it at the Fuji Rock Festival. This time I decided to get down with the people rather than fly above the crowd. The rain at the festival created some excellent mud, and the SCI shows went off.”
When asked about future appearances with SCI the Pig would not comment, but officials close to the Pig said that this was probably not the last we would see of him.
