2006 is gearing up to be a busy and rewarding year for SCI, and as new tour dates are announced, we will be reaching out to the Pirates mailing list for assistance in spreading the good word. In addition, we’d like to continue to increase awareness about ONE STEP CLOSER, the fantastic new studio album from SCI.

If you'd like to help spread the word about upcoming SCI tours, the new album, or any of SCI's current projects, click here, complete the online sign-up form, and check the box for "String Cheese Incident", under artists you'd like to promote.

Once you have signed up for the Pirates mailing list, you don’t need to sign up again ... we'll keep you posted through regular email newsletters, asking for assistance for specific tours and projects.

In addition, it's a very busy and exciting time here at SCI Fidelity Records, and we ALWAYS need folks to help spread the word about the various projects we are working on -- SCI's ON THE ROAD, Umphrey’s McGee’s latest studio effort SAFETY IN NUMBERS, the Disco Biscuits new double live album THE WIND AT FOUR TO FLY, Railroad Earth’s double live release ELKO, Steve Kimock Band’s EUDEMONIC, Brothers Past’s THIS FEELING’S CALLED GOODBYE, and much, much, more!

What is A Pirate? Pirates (not just a song anymore) are local String Cheese Incident representatives that have been strategically placed around the country in order for our ship to achieve maximum infiltration into familiar, as well as uncharted waters throughout the country. Before docking in any place that theband may go, much work has to be done in order to anticipate the band's arrival. Representatives make sure that posters are put up around town, help inform us of what's going on in town while we're there, and spread a general good vibe about an upcoming show. In return for helping out, many Pirates get to see headline shows for free. Please read our extended description of things Pirates have been doing to help the band whether they're on or off tour.	Pirates Posters & Handbills Whenever a SCI tour or album release is announced, we will send out an email to the Pirates mailing list asking for help with promotions in specific cities and towns throughout the country. In order to sign up to promote a show/album in your area, you MUST complete the form contained in the recruiting email, or email us to let us know which show and/or which area you’d like to help with.
